Synopsis
In 2001, Lionel Groult from Normandy, professional rider, embarks on a very unusual humanitarian sporting adventure: cycling 7200 km from Rouen to the heart of West Africa taking with him fifteen people ranging from 22 to 75, from very different social backgrounds, who would never have imagined they would take part in such an emotional, tough and beautiful adventure. Crossing through Morocco, Mauritania, Senegal and Mali, the group open up, discovering each other and Africa until suddenly an accident happens. Two years later, in 2003, we asked them to search their memories in front of their television in Normandy and relive the adventure. A journey on the trail of a rather extraordinary man...
